Private driver in Morocco, by the day or for your whole trip

A private driver in Morocco gives you the freedom of a hire car without the parking hunt outside the medina, the busy roundabouts or the night drive over the Atlas. You choose the route and the pace. Your driver knows the roads, the lunch stops worth pulling over for, and which corner is closest to your riad.

Book a single day for a transfer or a trip to the coast, or keep the same driver and vehicle from your first airport pickup to your last.

Starting points, not fixed packages. Combine them, add a night, or drop what doesn't interest you.

Day trip · back the same evening

Marrakech → Essaouira day trip

West through argan country to the Atlantic. Stop at a women's argan cooperative, look out for goats balancing in the trees, then walk the ramparts and the fishing port before the drive back.

One way

Marrakech airport transfers

Your driver waits in arrivals with your name on a sign, helps with the bags and drives you to your hotel. For a riad in the medina, the driver parks at the nearest point and walks you to the door.

Multi-day · at your own pace

Imperial cities: Fes, Meknes, Rabat

Three former royal capitals at your own rhythm: the old medina of Fes, the great gates of Meknes, the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas in Rabat. The Roman ruins of Volubilis fit neatly between Fes and Meknes.

Long day trip or overnight from Fes

Chefchaouen in the Rif mountains

The blue town is usually paired with Fes. Go for the day, or stay one night and walk the lanes early, before the day visitors arrive.

Which languages do the drivers speak?

Our team speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian. If you need a particular language, mention it in your request and we will match the driver where we can.

Tipping your driver

Tips are never compulsory, but in Morocco they are customary and appreciated. The usual way is one tip at the end of the trip rather than every day, in dirhams, handed over directly.

Private driver in Morocco: common questions

How much does a private driver cost per day?

It depends on the vehicle, the distance and the number of days. For the vehicle and driver, a 4x4 SUV costs €160 per day, a minivan €190 per day and a bus €220 per day. A multi-day trip is quoted as one total price.

Where does the driver sleep on a multi-day trip?

Your driver spends the night in the same town as you, so you can set off together in the morning.

Can we change the route during the trip?

Yes. Extra photo stops, a detour to a viewpoint or a longer lunch are what a private trip is for. Changes that add distance or nights can change the price.

Can the driver pick us up at the airport?

Yes, at Marrakech, Fes or another airport on your route. Send your flight number and arrival time, and the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign.

Is the driver also a guide?

Your driver will happily tell you about the regions you cross. For a proper visit of the Fes or Marrakech medina, we recommend a licensed local guide, which we can book for you.

Send us your route. We'll match the driver and the vehicle.
